Dr Peter Macmillan is the Principal Notary at Peter Macmillan & Associates, one of Australia's most in-demand Public Notary practices. As Head of The Macmillan School™ he leads practical courses and internships for law students transitioning from law school to legal practice.

A lawyer for over 30 years, Dr Macmillan has worked with governments and law firms in Australia and overseas, including with the ACCC, Allens and Clayton Utz in Australia, as a Government Policy Representative in Geneva (while with the Hong Kong Office of the Telecommunications Authority), and as Head of Competition Law at Johnson Stokes & Master in Hong Kong.

Academic & Research Background

Education: Bachelor's degrees in Economics and Law from the University of Tasmania, Master of Laws degree from Melbourne University.

PhD: Cognitive science and law at the University of Queensland and Bond University (2015).

Founded Meisterline® Analytics, a London-based research lab that pioneered the world's first quantitative method for measuring legal expertise using the KUJI® Rating Scale.
